Mrs. Annalysa Elledge is an adjunct professor at Midwestern State University with over 15 years of experience in public education as a classroom teacher, instructional leader, and campus administrator. She currently serves as the principal of Rann Elementary School in Decatur ISD, where she previously spent four years as assistant principal.
Mrs. Elledge has taught across early childhood and elementary grade levels, including kindergarten, fourth grade, and fifth grade English Language Arts, and has held leadership roles at both the campus and district levels. Her professional work centers on developing strong instructional practices, building effective academic and behavioral support systems, and mentoring educators through coaching and collaborative leadership.
Her areas of expertise include curriculum implementation, targeted interventions, dual language programs, technology integration, and peer mentoring/coaching. Mrs. Elledge holds a masters degree in educational leadership and a bachelors degree in early childhood grade 6 education, both from Midwestern State University. She is a member of the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association and has received multiple professional honors, including the Dr. Hunter Humanitarian Award, the DAR Literacy Award, and several Teacher of the Year nominations.
Outside of her professional roles, Mrs. Elledge enjoys spending time with her husband, Kaleb, and their four children. She values community involvement, faith, travel, and creative pursuits, which continue to shape her work as an educator and leader.
