Dr. Cecily Batiste is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Midwestern State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), an EMDRIA Approved Trainer and Consultant, and a Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) Practitioner. Dr. Batiste's clinical and scholarly interests include trauma, EMDR, multicultural counseling, counselor education, and clinical supervision. She is committed to preparing culturally responsive, trauma-informed counselors through experiential learning and evidence-based practice.
