Bio

I have a PhD in Education/Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Utah. A Masters degree in Professional and Technical Communications from East Carolina University and a BA in English degree from the University of Utah. I am interested in pedagogy and teaching of workplace important skills. My current interests focus on the ethical and beneficial ways to use AI with students.


I have experience in teaching at a variety of situations including a private liberal arts college, military teaching experience on a National Guard base, public university, community college, and high school teaching.


I am interested in undergraduate research and encouraging students to pursue research opportunities and internships.
