Joel M. Brown II MSM-HCA RRT FAARC FNAP CEC is an adjunct professor at the Midwestern State University of Texas. He has over 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership and respiratory care. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Respiratory Therapy from Millersville State University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Healthcare Administration (MSM-HCA) from Wilmington University in Delaware.
As a registered respiratory therapist and Fellow of the American Association for Respiratory Care (FAARC), Joel has been recognized for his significant contributions to the field, including advancing clinical practices, shaping policy, and mentoring professionals to take on leadership roles. His career includes serving as Vice President of Acute Medicine at one of the largest full-service health systems in the country, as Senior Director of Patient Care Operations for a childrenâs health system, and currently as CEO of an executive coaching and leadership development coaching firm, where he focuses on executive coaching and organizational development.
Joel is deeply committed to the healthcare profession, particularly to supporting and developing future leaders. His extensive experience and leadership within the field provide valuable perspectives to students as they prepare for careers in healthcare administration.
Joel is also a proud third-generation veteran who served his country as a Medic in the United States Army.
