Lauren is an adjunct professor for MSU in the College of Education. Her full-time job is as a school improvement campus support specialist for the Texas Education Agency (TEA). It is Lauren's mission to support and empower leaders across the state of Texas to create sustainable systems and strategies to improve student learning outcomes. Prior to her current role, Lauren served as an instructional coach at Education Service Center (ESC) Region 11 in Fort Worth supporting teachers and leaders to facilitate professional learning communities that allowed them to internalize curriculum and instructional materials at deep levels for greater student success. She has an educator-husband and two grown children. Lauren is passionate about all things outdoors, reading and research, and is an all-day coffee drinker.
