Lauren is an adjunct professor for MSU in the College of Education. Her full-time job is as an instructional coach for teachers and instructional leaders for Education Service Center in Region 11. Working closely with the Texas Education Agency (TEA), it is Lauren's mission to empower teachers to lead their own learning and development by elevating PLC practices to improve teaching and student achievement outcomes. Prior to this role, Lauren served as a high school counselor, an AVID coordinator for a school district, and a secondary English Language Arts teacher and team lead. She has an educator-husband and two children. Lauren is passionate about all things outdoors, reading and research, and is an all-day coffee drinker.
