Stephen is a 12-year Active-Duty Veteran currently serving in the U.S. Army Reserve. He commissioned in 2012 from the United States Military Academy at West Point NY and served with the First Cavalry Division at Fort Hood from 2013-2016 as a Tank Platoon Leader and Administrative Assistant and commanded a tank Company with the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart from 2019-2021. Stephen spent 3 years at Fort Benning serving as a course director at the Scout Leader School until 2024 when he transitioned to the 95th Training Division at Fort Sill as a Division Transportation Officer in the Reserve.

In his civilian capacity he is personally committed to assisting active duty, veterans, and families with their higher education needs as the director for the Military Education Center located on the second floor of Bridwell Activities Center.
