Accreditation

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologist Assistant Educational Program Recognition (2024) -The purpose of this project was to be recognized and/or have recognition extended by ARRT. Radiologist assistant (RA) programs must meet recognition criteria that include accreditation, clinical education, and preceptorship requirements. Initial recognition may be granted for up to three years, and renewal is granted for up to five years. I was primarily responsible for the Midwestern State University’s reaffirmation application for the program. The ARRT Board evaluated the RA program and voted to award recognition for five years, the maximum duration that may be awarded.
