Dr. Holcomb completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nurse Practice at George Washington University. Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing was completed at Mississippi University For Women. Prior to teaching at Midwestern State University Dr. Holcomb was a Senior Vice President with responsibility for 270 nurses in a large managed care company. Her other nursing experience includes emergency room nursing, occupational health, managed care, and school nursing. She holds professional certifications in case management and occupational health. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, and swimming. Dr. Holcomb is married and has a grown son, grown daughter, and 3 grandchildren. She is passionate about
