Dr. Timothy Hinchman serves as an Assistant Professor within the Gordon T. and Ellen West College of Education at MSU-Texas, where he has been a dedicated faculty member since 2016. His primary role involves instructing aspiring elementary school teachers in Science and Social Studies Methodology.
Dr. Hinchman holds an Ed.D. degree, which he earned from the University of West Florida, and completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University. His academic journey reflects his commitment to education and research.
His research interests center around the strategic manipulation of constraints to enhance both productivity and creativity. Currently, Dr. Hinchman is actively applying his expertise in designed constraints to optimize the physical productivity of NCAA Division II athletes.
Throughout his career, Dr. Hinchman has enthusiastically collaborated with fellow researchers across various educational and artistic disciplines, with a particular focus on STEM/STEAM fields.
Interestingly, Dr. Hinchman's passion extends beyond academia. As an avid comic-book enthusiast, he nurtures a deep fascination with Batman and the captivating characters of Gotham City's Rogues' Gallery. He aspires to combine his love for research and pop culture by presenting his work at a major Comic-Con event, where his unique perspectives and interests can be celebrated.
