Yasha, DHSc, is a December 2020 graduate of the Cal U Doctorate of Health Science and Exercise Leadership Program. Dr. Yasha has been a Registered Respiratory Therapist for ten years and is credentialed with the AARC and NBRC as a Neonatal and Pediatric Specialist, Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist, Pulmonary Disease Educator and COPD Educator. Her research interests include COPD advocacy and promoting COPD physical activity through virtual fitness. While teaching as an Assistant Professor of Respiratory Care, Dr. Yasha also serves as the Accelerated RRT-BSRC Program Coordinator at MSU Texas. In addition to her roles as an educator, Dr. Yasha is a licensed massage therapist and fitness enthusiast, holding the following certifications: ACSM EIM Level 1, NSCA-CSCS, NASM CPT, PES, and CES.
