Dr. Beth Reissenweber is the Vice President for Administration and Finance at Midwestern State University, a public liberal arts university in North Texas. She has served in higher education for over 20 years including as VP for Finance and Administration at Augsburg University in Minnesota, Vice President and Treasurer at Aurora University, and AVP Finance at Roosevelt University, both in Illinois. Prior to this she worked in legal service and other non-profits.

Dr. Reissenweber holds a PhD in Educational Students in Higher Education Administration from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, an MBA from Indiana University in marketing, and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. She has been recognized for her work in sustainable transit practices and co-authored a cover article in 2017 on being “Student Ready” for the Business Officer a publication of the National Association of College and University Business Officers. 

On a personal note, Dr. Reissenweber moved her family to Texas in 2019 to join the Midwestern State University Cabinet and leadership team.  Her son is a junior in college studying advertising, her daughter is a senior at the local public high school active in teen court and the debate league, and her husband is a stay-at-home dad.
