Dr. Eboneigh Harris

Director, Planning and Assessment
Hardin Administration Bldg

I graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 2013 with my bachelor's in Anthropology and Celtic Studies and earned by PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2021. My research interests include literacy and identity, as well as play, pleasure, and equity.

I strongly believe that learning and growth are supported by environments that allow individuals to bring their full selves forward and stretch out comfortably without fear, and encourage taking "safe to fail" risks. Our institutions of higher education should reflect these needs. My research into equity and pleasure has been foundational to my work in assessment and strategic planning, providing a benchmark to evaluate and guide action.
